PC POWER SUPPLY MODIFICATION TO BE 13.8 VDC OUTPUT

General :

  • WARNING   : ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD !!!
  • Ensure the output always connected to load (existing Fan or additional 100 Ohm/2 Watt Resistor, otherwise the power supply will be malfunction forever !!!).

Personal Comment :
  • Simple and easy to be implemented


Another short cut :
  1. Remove R40 and R39 (feed back from 3.3 V and 5.0 V)
  2. Replace R41 with R fixed 10 kOhm serie with VR 47 kOhm (for adjusting Output up 15 VDC)
  3. Replace C16 and C17 with 4700 uF/ 35 VDC for ripple supression
